Our position is...
18 degrees 01 minutes North, 35 degrees 03 minutes West. We are going 5.5 knots under spinnaker and are on a course of 230 degrees true or, in other words, we are on a tack that, if held, would put us right smack in the mouth of the Amazon. Our boat does not like the wind below the quarter at all so we have to tack! The wind is 13 knots app. from 070. We have 30% cloud cover and it is 80.6 degrees down below. The seas are like a washing machine. Bumpy to say the least. Sorry I have to cut this short but we have been fighting all day trying to keep our asymmetrical spinnaker from collapsing and filling collapsing and filling each time with a loud crash and a jerk so I am more than ready to turn in.
P.S. CORRECTION! We did not bake yesterday. I accidentally wrote 89.9 degrees instead of 79.9 degrees for the inside temp.
